First Aid Training

Accidents or emergencies at work are always unexpected; however being well prepared for such occurrences can ultimately save lives. Organizations that endorse and implement the education of first aid throughout the company ensure employee safety and ultimately meet the expectations of their staff.

All of our courses meet international occupational health and safety requirements (OSHA) and leads to an internationally recognized certification for candidates who successfully complete the courses. We have developed a broad range of First Aid courses and all of the programs are current with medical guidelines.

Our First Aid courses include:

These courses can be conducted at our training venues throughout India or onsite at workplaces if so preferred.

Kids First: First Aid for Parents

For every parent a situation that involves their children requiring first aid can be disheartening. However, knowing how to effectively and calmly handle such situations benefits both parents and their children greatly.

 This course covers:

  • CPR

  • Choking

  • Breathing problems

  • Fevers

  • Allergies

  • Head injury

  • Fractures

  • Bleeding

This course was designed for parents with children ages 0-12. The course duration is 8 hours and provides parents with the basic skills needed to administrator first aid to their child or children.

 This course does not provide workplace certification.



CPR is a critical area in regards to basic first aid training and links to H&S in the workplace. This potentially lifesaving maneuver is a critical factor in first aid responding. It is imperative that those responsible for the welfare and safety of others complete the course in CPR.

CPR stands for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation. This important course provides individuals with the skills needed to perform resuscitation. CPR with regards to first aid, allows the responder to perform resuscitation if required until medical aid arrives.


Basic Life Support (BLS)

A critical component with CPR, Basic Life Support focuses on CAB – Circulation, airway and breathing. BLS provides candidates with the necessary skills and confidence to make fast decisions in a pre-hospital setting. This also includes performing CPR if required until the proper medical professionals arrive on site.

This course follows a ‘chain of survival’ mentality that involves a quick response to the situation at hand. Such as, early assessment techniques when approaching the causality; early CPR and advanced care.

There is no prerequisite for this course.


Apply First Aid Course

Previously known as ‘Senior First Aid’, this course is a basic requirement for health and safety in the workplace. Those responsible for first aid will acquire the necessary skills and knowledge in providing adequate care when a casualty occurs. This includes life support, management of causality(s), the incident and other attending first aiders. Overall candidates will learn how to perform emergency pre-hospital care until medical aid arrives.

 There is no prerequisite for this course.


Apply First Aid Fast Track Course

This course was developed for individuals who have limited time and wish to refresh their Senior First Aid qualification. Candidates are asked to complete this course online before attending the class. They will then be tested on their knowledge upon arrival. This is a one day course event where candidates are refreshed through basic instruction. **************************************************************************************************************************

Automated External Defibrillation (AED) Course

An AED is a safe and reliable device that delivers electrical shocks to a casualty in cardiac arrest. It is a portable electronic device designed for easy use by first aid responders until medical aid arrives. This course helps candidates gain the necessary skills and confidence to utilize an AED when and if needed. The course emphasizes:

  • Safety for both casualties and first aiders

  • Proper placement of electrodes

  • Delivering the first shock as quickly as possible

  • Plenty of hands on practice to instill confidence


Anaphylaxis Awareness Course

Anaphylaxis is a serious allergic reaction which can possibly lead to death. Common causes include food, medication, bee stings and latex. It is recommended that professionals and those responsible for first aid have a basic understanding of anaphylaxis.

This course raises awareness and provides candidates with the necessary skills needed to help a victim who is suffering from a severe allergic reaction. It teaches recognition and treatment of anaphylaxis and how to use the epi-pen. All instruction is in accordance with various legislative requirements with regards to administering therapeutic substances. This includes the administering of adrenaline through an auto-injector.


Advanced Resuscitation Techniques

This course was developed for first aiders to advance their existing knowledge and life saving skills. In general, it is a refresher course and includes:

  • AED overview

  • Resuscitation techniques

  • Oxygen delivery

This course requires annual updates to ensure that first aid responders are current and up to date with techniques in accordance with legislation.


Occupational First Aid Course

The Occupational First Aid course was designed for workplace conditions that specifically deal with injury, accidents and illnesses that may occur at work.

This course includes:

  • Ensuring health and safety in the workplace

  • Up to date sections of occupational health and safety legislations

  • Core responsibilities of workplace first aid responders

  • Utilizing personal protective equipment

  • Skills in manual handling

This course is ideal for those employed as Occupational First Aiders, or those wishing to be employed in this role.
